Asian Dreams ASIAN DREAMS EXPORTING WORKSHOP
Friday 9th December 2005
6.00pm - 7.30pm
Barclay Hall
Green Street
Forest Gate,
London E7
Cost: Free

At a time when the fashion industry is becoming increasingly competitive in a highly volatile, ever changing market place, companies cannot afford to solely rely on the UK market place to sustain business. Asian Dreams with UK Trade & Investment - who specialise in helping British companies looking to start up or expand their overseas business interests - are holding an Exporting Workshop on Friday 9 December 2005. The workshop will foucus on how clothing companies can win more business through market development and International trade.

Asian Dreams is a non-profit initiative that works specifically with fashion and clothing businesses in Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Waltham Forest. We aim to help companies develop and grow their businesses through a number of marketing opportunities.

The presentation will include:

  • The business benefits of exporting
  • Strategic reasons for exporting
  • The importance of a unique selling proposition as a means of competitor differentiation
  • The key success factors for exporting
  • Which countries are right for you to export to, based on your product/service
  • Market entry options
  • UK Trade & Investment services available for companies wanting to export, including information on exhibition support, outward buying missions and market research reports
  • Q&A session

The workshop is free. Refreshments will be served. Due to limited capacity we advise you to book ASAP and avoid disappointment. Telephone: 0845 650 4244 Email: becky.hunt@newham.ac.uk
