The
Bloody Balti Theatre Company are proud to announce Saturday
drama workshops aimed at individuals with an 'Islamic Background'.
The workshops will be held at the Central School Of Speech
And Drama. There are a limited number of places available
on this course (maximum ten per workshop).
Hajaz
Akram the Artistic director of The Bloody Balti Theatre Company
will lead the classes.

Akram
trained at The Central School of Speech and Drama and his most recent
credits include, the feature film 'Tomb Raider II' and BBC's 'Murder
In Mind'. He also wrote and directed the play 'Islamophobia' which
was performed at theatre venues across London.
The
workshop aims to give the students an understanding of the creative
process and explore their responses theatrically, based on their
cultural background and ethnicity. The student will also be taught
specific techniques in acting.
No
previous experience is required, just dedication, interest and engagement
in the activity. Through this every student's unique skill, talent
and ability to perform will be discovered and enhanced. Benefiting
both the individual who is interested in acting and those who will
learn new skills to use in their professional careers.
