REDHOTCURRY.COM SHORTLISTED FOR BIMA AWARDS 2003
(2 October 2003)

Redhotcurry.com logo Redhotcurry.com has been shortlisted in the 'Arts & Culture' category for the BIMA (British Interactive Marketing Association) Awards 2003. The annual BIMA Awards received a record number of entries this year and after a full month of judging the Association announced that the work submitted this year was of a very high standard and congratulated all nominees.

Redhotcurry.com Editor, Lopa Patel.Redhotcurry.com Editor Lopa Patel said, "This is truly great news! The BIMA awards are like being judged by a panel of your peers, so just being in the shortlist is staggering. South Asian Arts make a significant contribution to the cultural wealth of this country and it would be nice to have this recognised with a BIMA Award".

Established in 1985, the British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) is the trade association representing the diverse interests of the UK interactive industry. Renowned as the most prestigious new media competition in Europe, BIMA's annual awards set the standard for the industry, celebrating creative excellence and craftsmanship within digital media.

This year BIMA have introduced some special awards which are FREE to enter and open for everyone to vote. The New Media Hero and Zero awards are for individuals who have done the best and worst for the industry. The 'We Can't Live Without It' awards cover hardware and software we simply could not stand to be without. Members of the public can vote for these by clicking here.
