Yi is the voice of young
Indians globally. It was launched by the Confederation
of Indian Industry (CII) as a platform to create
leaders across the world, working towards the
common purpose of realising a developed India.
Inter-disciplinary teams hold events and work
together to address key issues within India.
The purpose of the roadshow
was to explore opportunities to step up cultural
exchange between the two countries where Yi can
play a part and consider the launch of a London
Chapter. There are currently 16 City Chapters
of Yi across India.
Rahul
Mirchandani described Yi's current activities
and set out the vision for the London Chapter.
"There is no better time to be Indian and
to be a young Indian is the best thing in the
world" he said. His
speech was followed by a question and answer session,
followed by informal discussion with the CII -
Yi delegation and the Committee of the London
Chapter
