Business & Entertainment Update
Editorial: Bollywood should stop stereotyping white women

Denise Richards in Kambakkht IshqThis week I have been interviewing the charismatic Kamel Hothi, an Asian banker extraordinaire. I've also been having a bit of laugh at the trailer for 'Kambakkht Ishq' which is either the wind-up of the century, a send-up of all action movies or merely the beneficiary of the 'kiss of death' from actress Denise Richards (pictured left), ex-wife of Charlie Sheen, whose sole purpose in the film seems to be to look good in a bikini! Perhaps Bollywood should stop stereotyping white women as much Hollywood should stop with the Asian stereotypes.

I am also pondering how Mira Kaushik OBE, of Akademi, manages to get so many hot young men to dance to her tune. Guess, I'll just have to attend Akademi's 'Frame by Frame' symposium on Bollywood dance on 13 July 2009 to find out. And I definitely can't wait for Anish Kapoor's paint spattering cannon ball art at the Royal Academy in the autumn. Bikinis are optional for that!
