Nathwani, MD of the Mandarin Corporation has added
another jewel to his company's crown by opening
a third restaurant in Birmingham. Starting with
the delightful Thai Edge in Brindley Place and
followed by The Oriental in The Mailbox, their
new venture is Mirage Fusion, a fine dining restaurant
that opened in June 2009 at Broadway Plaza. The
new Mirage Fusion restaurant at Broadway Casino
had a successful VIP launch attended by over 700
of the city's movers and shakers including the
BBC and ITV news teams.
The team were busy showing
off its new menu which features an eclectic mix
of Italian, Indian, Thai and Chinese cuisine.
Guests were entertained by Spanish musicians Synergy,
Bollywood Dance troupe Desi Nach and Motown singer
Dennis Seaton. Broadway Casino had been searching
for a restaurant with an award winning reputation
for great food and great service, to take over
the spot vacated by Oscar's; and approached Harish
Nathwani, MD of the Mandarin Corporation to make
his mark.
