MADHU'S
VOTED BIBA RESTAURANT OF THE YEAR 2005

Leading
entrepreneur and restaurateur, Sanjay Anand of acclaimed London
restaurant Madhu's adds two feathers to his cap of achievement.
Today (13 June 2005), Madhus celebrated its accolade for
being the Best in the Restaurant category at BIBA 2005 as well
as the restaurants exclusive deal to supply Harrods with
its select range of award winning, exquisite and delectable Punjabi
cuisine with a wonderful Kenyan Asian twist.
The
Madhu’s range at Harrods includes a variety of meat, seafood and
vegetarian dishes, Indian breads, pillau and desserts including
King Prawn Masala, Chicken Tikka, Mixed Vegetable Jalfrezi, Baddam
Kheer (rice pudding), etc with prices ranging from £0.80 to £39.50
per kilo.
With
over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Sanjay
Anand, Managing Director for Madhus, has built up an excellent
reputation, developing exclusive relationships with a huge number
of top London venues including the Natural History Museum, the
Langham Hotel and the London Park Lane Hilton while collecting
an array of awards and honours along the way.

announced at the 13th Best in Britain Awards (BIBA) organised

awards were presented by Neil Fraser on behalf of Carlsberg UK
who remarked that Carlsberg have been associated with ethnic restaurant
for 75 years and expected to still be there in another 75. Restaurateurs
flew in from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff and even Paris specifically
to join in the BIBA celebration of the best of the ethnic restaurant
industry.
