KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI (1998)
Dir: Karan Johar
Music: Jatin-Lalit
Lyrics: Javed Akhtar, Sameer
Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukherjee, Farida Jalal, Archana Puran Singh, Salman Khan.

Kuch Kuch Hota HaiIn 1998, success in Indian cinema belonged to Karan Johar's Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (Something Stirs In My Heart), a romantic story about Rahul (superstar Shah Rukh Khan) who marries the gorgeous Tina (Rani Mukherjee), unaware that he is really in love with another of his college mates, Anjali (Kajol).

Eight years later after Tina dies (having given birth to a daughter), Rahul is re-united with the love of his life through the machinations of his mother and his young daughter. But time hasn't stood still for Anjali who is about to marry a stylish young man, Aman (played by the other leading hero of Indian cinema, Salman Khan). The film then develops into a love triangle and it is Anjali who decides whether she goes for Rahul or for Aman.
