Synopsis

Only once in a blue moon is such a great criminal born who is fearless as well as shameless. Now is the blue moon and the great criminal is ‘Tees Maar Khan’. He steals, cons and cheats with such bewildering audacity that even shame shies away from him. He and his motley crew, comprising ‘Dollar’, ‘Soda’ and ‘Burger’, have managed to keep police forces the world over on their toes. Then one fine day, international antique smugglers, the Johri Brothers, assign ‘Tees Maar Khan’ the biggest heist of his life – to rob antiques worth 500 crore rupees from a heavily guarded, moving train. Will Khan and his merry gang, with some unwitting support from his wannabe-actress girlfriend, Anya, and a greedy Bollywood superstar be able to pull off the greatest heist in history?

Akshay & Katrina sizzle on Juhu Beach

Things just got hotter in India when Tees Maar Khan Akshay Kumar, sultry actress and co-star Katrina Kaif and maverick filmmaker Farah Khan came together for the Provogue Tees Maar Khan Beach Party at Juhu Beach, Mumbai. Beach revellers were foot tapping and grooving to the hit numbers from the film’s inimitable soundtrack. Akshay Kumar set the stage ablaze with the chemistry he shared with his number one screen partner, Katrina Kaif, as she sizzled and enraptured the audience with a taste of ‘Sheila Ki Jawaani’ – already the Bollywood anthem of 2010.

Kamal Khan kicked off the bash with a performance of his Qawali number 'Wallah Re Wallah'. An exquisite performance of the ‘Tees Maar Khan’ hit title track by Sonu Niigaam followed, as he took to the stage singing the song in 54 tones of voice. The Beach Party came to an end with Abhijeet Sawant and Debojit performing the song Happy Ending to create a happy end to the unique promotion.

Cineworld Feltham feels the vibe in December 2010

UK audiences did not despair though as Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and Farah Khan descended upon London shores on Wednesday 15th June 2010 for a series of media meets and fan interactions, meeting Bollywood fans and audiences at Cineworld Feltham from 8.00pm, to launch the advance preview ticket sales for the film. The stars brought pandemonium to the venue as the throngs clambered to get closer to their screen idols.

Getting up close and personal, the stars interacted with fans, with Akshay playing real life hero when he rescued a lost child from the crowds and real life action hero when he climbed on top of the cinema’s ticket booth, to the hysteria and delight of the screaming fans. Traditional Punjabi ‘dhol’ players provided the soundtrack as Akshay, Katrina and Farah together opened ticket sales to the first twenty starstruck fans.
