ASIAN ART IN LONDON 2005
3 - 12 November 2005

Asian Art in London 2005Running from 3rd November until 12th November, and now in its 8th year, Asian Art in London unites London 's leading Art Dealers, Auction Houses and major institutions, in a unique 10 day event of Seminars, Auctions and Selling Exhibitions.

Displays will be as diverse as the works of art themselves; including jades, paintings, bronzes, lacquer, porcelain, cloisonné, glass, wood, pottery, textiles and costumes. With a range of dates from BC to AD, and of origins from the domestic through Aristocratic to religious, from all over Asia, London asserts itself as the centre of excellence for expertise in Asian art.

Asian Art in London is also forging new links with the World Monument Fund, who are currently restoring the " Qianlong Gardens " in the Forbidden City, in Beijing . The opening of the "Qing" exhibition at the Royal Academy coincides with the Asian Art in London event this year, promising to produce outstanding works of art from both Participants and Auction houses alike.

Asian Art in London 2005 encompasses the London Art World as the centre for knowledge, exhibitions and sales of the Arts of Asia. Several contemporary art dealers have joined Asian Art in London for the first time this year bringing a new dimension from traditional sources.
