ASIAN ART IN LONDON: 10th ANNIVERSARY
1 - 10 November 2007

Asian Art in London, 1 - 10 November 2007With art from ancient to modern, spanning some 5,000 years, the 10th Anniversary of Asian Art in London, which runs from 1 - 10 November 2007, continues its climb onwards and upwards, confirming that London is the premier site for Asian Art. This year Asian Art in London will work in partnership with the British Museum with a private view of The British Museums's exhibition, The First Emperor, China's Terracotta Army.

Also in association with the British Museum, Asian Art in London will hold a "First Emperor Study Day", on Saturday 10th November, at the BP Lecture theatre. With both national and international lecturers. It should be a memorable day and is open to everyone who wishes to be introduced and to further their knowledge of the Terracotta Army.

Asian Art in London's 10th Anniversary prize for the most outstanding work of 2 & 3 Dimensional Art will continue to be presented by the Antiques Trade Gazette Newspaper. The competition is judged by a leading group of experts from the academic world, with the exception of the celebrity guest - to be announced.

New and returning participants for Asian Art in London 2007 include; textile dealer Joss Graham, Sweet Tea House; specialising in Tibetan Contemporary art, Oc-Eo Gallery run by Peter Quintana, specialising in contemporary Vietnamese art and Chris Garnier of Indian Contemporary art fame. Sue Ollemans a well-known expert in Chinese art & jewellery and Michael Backman, Islamic specialist, writer and collector.
