Mira Veda, a sultry soul singer from America, is definitely a talent to watch out for with record labels on both sides of the Atlantic hot on her tail. Her skilful blend of Soul, R&B and Jazz gives her an edge over her contemporaries. Drawing inspiration from Sade, Lou Rawls, Etta James, George Michael and Michael Jackson, the neo-soul singer-songwriter has created a debut album called 'Infinite Love'.

Already dubbed 'the next Norah Jones' by music pundits, Mira's music commands respect and receives it. In the USA, reviewers have described her as mesmerising, inspiring, enchanting and seductive.

Born in India but raised in Canada, Mira moved to San Francisco three years ago. Of a Punjabi background, religious singing was always encouraged and this led Mira to develop her natural talent in R&B and Soul with firm support from some unlikely sources. After collaborations with Kool And The Gang and Lisa Bonet, the young star in the making was prompted to develop her own album 'Infinite Love'. In her quest to find a truly original sound Mira collaborated with Chin Injeti, an award-winning producer and singer-songwriter who has brought an infectious fusion of sounds to complement Mira's smooth vocals.

Having worked relentlessly for the past two years, Mira's sounds have created a true reflection of her thoughts. She says: "Infinite Love is about longing, pain, shame, everything that you and I experience. The experience is about bringing your heart closer to mine and making us one. No colour lines, no race, no religion, just the music".
