The play has been adapted from the screenplay Mistaken by Pakistani writer Shahid Nadeem, based on a scenario by Shahid Nadeem and Glasgow-based Sarmed Mirza(a participant in the drama group), which has recently been made into a film for Pakistani television by BabaJaani Entertainments Ltd.

About Ankur Productions

Founded in 2004 by its Artistic Director, Lalitha Rajan, Ankur Productions is a Glasgow-based organisation which aims to increase diversity within the arts sector in Scotland. Past projects have included Mehfil, a multi-lingual poetry and song event featuring Jackie Kay, Liz Lochead, and leading Pakistani poet Kishwar Naheed, along with emerging Scottish-Asian poets, a theatre production of Kafka's The Trial directed by Daljinder Singh (both at Glasgow's Tramway), a production of Martin Crimp's Fewer Emergencies at Glasgow Citizens.
