Bangladeshi theatre breathes new life into the greatest love story ever told, Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet' with Tara touring its production of 'People's Romeo' from 9th September until 22nd October 2010. Weaving together Shakespeare's verse and Bengali poetry, People's Romeo is a dynamic cross-cultural performance made for our time. Five performers use Pala Gaan - a theatre style which combines music, dance and storytelling - to re-invent this classic of English theatre.
