After the success of The Deranged Marriage and Meri Christmas, Rifco Arts returns with 'There's Something About Simmy', a story of family, friendship and fate! Simmy is an imported Indian bride whose marriage is not off to a good start. Raj, her no good husband has run away on her wedding night and left her alone with a crazy family made up of community conscious mother in law, a diabetic granddad obsessed with biscuits, and Mindy her neurotic sister in law.

Not allowed to leave the house in case the Aunties become suspicious, Simmy soon begins to regret ever setting foot in the UK! But friendship with an unlikely kindred spirit who lives next door, and her new family's prodigal son, soon has the community talking, and Simmy soon begins to realise that she can make her own happy ending…

Written and directed by Pravesh Kumar, the brains behind the overwhelmingly successful play, The Deranged Marriage, 'There's Something about Simmy' is a brand new mid-scale play that will be touring around the country from September. With music by Coventry based duo, Partners in Rhyme, and two fantastic Bollywood dance numbers choreographed by Andy Kumar (Page 3, Kalion Ka Chaman), it promises to be a visual feast!

Tthis show incorporates some Punjabi, but will have English surtitles.
