Asian Achievers Awards 2009

The ninth annual Asian Achievers Awards, as organised by the Asian Business Publications Group, were celebrated on Thursday 3rd December 2009 at Wembley Stadium in London. Over 750 individuals had gathered to see chief guest Baroness Shriti Vadera honour Asians in nine categories. Among those recognised were actor Nitin Ganatra, who received an award for his contribution to the 'Food for Life' campaign and Mr Anil Solanki, who founded the 'Taj' food brand. Guests, including the Rt. Hon Keith Vaz MP and Virendra Sharma MP were entertained by dancers from Honey Kalaria's Dance Academy, FlexFX Productions and singer Navin Kundra.
