Raha International celebrates
with a Bollywood Extravaganza
10th December 2010
Educational
charity Raha International celebrated attaining
UK Registered Charity status with a 'Bollywood Extravaganza'
on Friday 10th December 2010 at The Sapphire Lounge
in Edgware, Middlesex. Over 100 guests were entertained
by musician and singer Renu Gidoomal and took part
in a special Bollywood dance masterclass with choreographer
Kalpesh Patel before sitting down to a sumptuous
vegetarian meal. To help raise much-needed funds
for the charity, guests were treated to a special
belly dancing performance before taking to the dance
floor themselves to the tracks played by DJ Dilz.
A raffle hosted at the end of the evening featured
prizes ranging from Lush cosmetics and dinner for
two to Bollywood dance classes under the tutelage
of Kalpesh Patel, among the champagne, chocolates
and gift sets.
