Arti Lukha made her name as a hard-hitting journalist reporting from the frontline of world news: she interviewed leading political figures in the midst of chaos and confusion in Rawalpindi after the assassination of Benazir Bhutto. She documented a British family’s journey to Thailand to search for their loved ones in the wake of the Tsunami, and interviewed prostitutes working the streets of Ipswich when Steve Wright was sentenced for the murder of five women.
