NEESHEE
PATEL Neeshee Patel read law at Balliol College Oxford. In 2002 Neeshee graduated with a first class honours degree, and was offered employment with a number of law practices, but elected to train with Freshfields in London. She recently qualified as a lawyer and is planning to specialise in corporate law. Before starting her legal training Neeshee went to work in a disabled children's orphanage in Mexico where she spent several months teaching and looking after children in basic living conditions. Upon her return from Mexico her employers sponsored her legal practice course, and when she started as a trainee lawyer the bulk of her first salary was sent to the orphanage in Mexico to carry out repairs to their building. |
