PROFESSOR SORAYA DHILLON MBE

Chair of the Luton & Dunstable Hospital Foundation Trust, and self-described “passionate supporter of Luton”, Soraya Dhillon devotes her time to supporting the improvement of care provided to patients of Luton & Dunstable hospital. She is committed to ensuring the wishes and views of the patients from this diverse community are given adequate care and attention. She frequently visits the wards and departments in the Trust, and is constantly concerned with the development and championing of diversity and equality in the hospital environment.

Dhillon lectured pharmacy at University College London, before being appointed Professor at the University of Hertfordshire. This strong academic background, combined with her energy and commitment, recently earned her an MBE for services to healthcare.

She displays strength of character, courage and enthusiasm in her day-to day dealings with patients and professionals within the healthcare sector alike.
