MPCL WEEKLY RESULTS

Greetings! Cricket Lovers

There were no major shocks in the first round of the Baker Tilly Cup as all eight division one sides made it through to the 2nd round. Cup holders Neasden secured a very comfortable 10 wicket victory against Kingsbury Construction, whilst last year's finalist SKLP accounted for Sri Lankian Cavaliers by 57 runs thanks largely to 119 from Prakash Bhatt.

North London Drifter's Nasir Khan scored 140 of his sides 368-7 against Welldon, who fell short of their target by 205 runs. Christian Akash made 124no for West Harrow in their 17 run victory over Ramgharia; the former were further aided by three stumpings from Brian McGory. Rohan Salvi scored 100 for United Sports in their 131 run win against Stanmore Jaffrey's. Waqar Abbas failed by one run to become a centurion against Centurions in Bharat Olympians total of 262-6; Centurions were dismissed for 150. Rishi Kotecha of Kondor took 6-39 against Embassy, however this was in sufficient as the latter ran out winners by 131 runs.
