MPCL WEEKLY RESULTS

Greetings! Cricket Lovers

Sai made it a fifth consecutive win in their first season in Division one. Sai put up a modest total 153 against second placed Embassy and than proceeded to dismiss them for 77. Neasden's Charu Valvi (80) and Hitsu Patel (5-29) guided Neasden to a win over bottom of the Division 1 Lankians. Akash Christian of West Harrow made 87no as they defeated Rajput Samaj. The game between SKLP and North London Drifters was uncompleted where Prakash Bhatt was 93no.

Express suffered their first league defeat at the hands of Stanmore Jaffrey's in division 2, whilst Welldon's Deepak Charuvili (86) helped them ensure a sixth consecutive league defeat for Muktajivan. The most surprising result of the day was Kondor's defeat of Littleton in division 3; the win moves them off the foot of the division and are replaced by United Sports. A hat-trick for Sayona's Pinal Patel assisted them to a 4 wicket win against Suraj in division 4 and avenge last week's cup defeat; in the same match Amit Patel scored 102 and took 3-63 for Suraj. Jagjit Sohal of Ramgharia took 6-29 in their crushing 195 runs defeat of Young Puthoharis to remain top of division 4 table. Saukar Rawat of Centurion's recorded the best bowling figures of the day in the league with 6-13 against Regency.

Middlesex Masala remained undefeated following their win against Welldon II thanks largely to 100 from Ashan Qadir. Mark Antee (81) and skipper Davendra Patel (82) helped Bharat Olympians II rack up 241-7 against EKTA II. Ashan Ullah helped pressurize Bharat Olympians II when he took 34 runs off the 11th over which included five sixes and one four. Ullah was out for 83 as EKTA II lost momentum with regular fall of wickets. United Sports II's Vimal Joshi (115) and Markesh Bhatt (82no) ensured a victory against West Harrow II.
