MPCL WEEKLY RESULTS

Sai remain at the top of division one despite suffering their first league defeat of the season at the hands of Neasden. Sai posted 197-9 in 40 overs with the most notable contributions coming from Khorum Shezade (57) and Rahul Jagota (43). Neasden had several useful contributions to their innings with Krunal Patel making 41no to see Neasden pass the Sai total with 5 balls to spare. Lankians prop up the bottom of division one as they suffered their seventh consecutive league defeat this season at the hand of rivals West Harrow. SKLP's Prakash Bhatt made 86 in their victory over Rajput Samaj.

Stanmore Jaffrey's remain top of division two following their win over Bharat Olympians. Stanmore Jaffrey's were restricted to 238-8 with Syed Shah taking 5-31; Bharat Olympians were contained as they were dismissed for 208. Sri Lankian Cavalier's Rukshan Warnacula (76) and Nabeel Shah (60) were mainly responsible for their total of 246 against Welldon; Nabeel than chipped in with 4-34 as Welldon were bowled out for 135. Lohana recorded their first league win by defeating Express by 10 runs in a closely fought game.

In division three, Anson increased their lead at the top with a 20 run victory over second placed Youth Wing. Sadagopan Kumar made 77 for Magenta Security in their 221-5 in 40 overs; however Dharmaj passed their total with 4 balls to spare. In division three, league leaders Sayona were comfortably 81 runs short of Centurions 217. Ramgharia have now gone to the top of division following their 9 runs win over Suraj; Amit Patel made 92 for Suraj in their total of 234-8 in 40 overs.

In the 2nd XI competition, Middlesex Masala suffered their first league defeat at the hands of second placed Bharat Olympians II. Sharad Desai came out of retirement to plunder 76 for Rajput Samj II against United Sports II.

Bharat Olympians (208-10) v Stanmore Jaffreys (238-8) - Stanmore Jaffreys won by 30 runs.

Dharmaj (222-6) v Magenta Security (221-5) - Dharmaj won by 4 wickets.
Youth Wing (108-10) v Anson (128-10) - Anson won by 20 runs.
Littleton (135-10) v EKTA (136-3) - EKTA won by 7 wickets.
Kondor (170-6) v United Sports (169-10) - Kondor won by 4 wickets.

Ramgharia (243-8) v Suraj (234-8) - Ramgharia won by 9 runs.
Centurions (217-8) v Sayona (136-10) - Centurions won by 81 runs.
Capital (199-10) v Young Puthoharis (201-9) - Young Puthoharis won by 1 wicket.
QCS London v Regency - Regency forfeit the game.

2ND XI DIVISION

Middlesex Masala (80-10) v Bharat Olympians (81-5) - Bharat Olympians II won by 5 wickets.
Rajput Samaj II (123-2) v United Sports II (122-10) - Rajput Samaj II won by 8 wickets.
