MPCL WEEKLY RESULTS
 
 

Greetings! Cricket Lovers

Neasden completed the league double over Sai to go top of division one for the first time this season. Neasden scored 242-7 in 40 over with Sunil Bhatt making the top score of 70. In a tense run chase Sai fell short by 6 runs. Lankians won their first league game of the season by defeating local rivals West Harrow by 17 runs. Embassy completed the double over North London Drifters in their comfortable 3 wicket victory. Bharat Patel of Rajput Samaj was their hero as he took 5-8 whilst restricting SKLP to 120; Dhiren Darbar than hit 47 as Rajput raced to 124-3 in 22.4 overs.

Stanmore Jaffrey's and Sri Lankian Cavaliers consolidated their positions at the top of division 2 with wins over Bharat Olympians and Welldon respectively. Lohana have moved of the bottom following their walkover against Express. Muktajivan were restricted to 175 by Kingsbury Construction as Vinod Bhanderi took 5-31. In the run chase Kingsbury made it home by 1 wicket and 3 balls to spare.

In division three, Anson have a useful 31 points cushion to nearest team Littleton. The battle to secure 2nd promotion spot remains tense with eight points separating Littleton, Magenta Security, Youth Wing and Dharmaj. United Sports remain rooted to the bottom following their narrow 1 wicket defeat at the hands of Kondor. In division four, Ramgharia remain top despite their 45 runs defeat by Suraj. Joban Kapoor (100no) and Faraz Khan (73) of Centurions set up their win against Sayona. Dawar Aziz (90) lead Young Puthoharis to the highest team total of 298 for the weekend's fixtures. The highest individual score of the day came from Davendra Parmar of West Harrow II as he scored 125no in their victory over Welldon II.
