MPCL WEEKLY RESULTS

Greetings! Cricket Lovers

Embassy set up a semi final with West Harrow in the Baker Tilly Cup following their easy win against Sai. Earlier in the day, Embassy had managed to put up only 176 as Mano Dharmaj (3-31) and Razza Bhokhari (3-41) kept the Embasy batsman at bay. Ali Zaide top scored with 56. An inspired spell of bowling (9-4-11-7) from Amir Shaszad swept away Sai's dreams of a semi final spell as they were dismissed for a meager 106.

Akash Christian scored 84 and took 6-28 for cup favorites West Harrow in their win over Lohana by 48 runs. Bharat Olympians Syed Shah was the bowling hero with 6-31 in their 6 wicket defeat of United Sports. Bharat Olympians will play Sri Lankian Cavaliers in the other cup semi final following their defeat of Muktajivan.

In the Baker Tilly Plate competition, Capital gained a surprise win against Ramgharia. Capital posted 196 thanks mainly to contributions from Vinod Khurana (49) & Jawwad Sheikh (36). Paresh Patel took 5-30 as Ramgharia were restricted to 146 in their reply.

Narendra Patel (4-14) assisted Kondor towards their 119 run win against Youth Wing to book their semi-final spot. Stan more Jaffrey's Fayaz Kermali took 5-30 in their 4 wicket win against Centurions and set up a semi final with Welldon who over came QCS London by 8 wickets.

In the 2nd XI competition, Neasden II's Vishwajeet Solanki marked his return with an undefeated 114no in their 8 wicket win against Middx Masala. Rajput Samaj II and Welldon II both recorded wins by huge margins against EKTA II and United Sports II respectively.
