Greetings! Cricket Lovers Neasden maintained their pole position at top of division one with a comfortable win against West Harrow. Lankians amassed 323-7 against North London Drifters with Sujith Kumarasinghe contributing 84 and Shamil Appathurai 44. In the North London Drifters reply, Ravi Subramaniam took 5-23 and was assisted by 4 catches from Sujith. Lankians secured their second league win to move off the bottom of the table. Rajput Samaj's Jesal Rathod (75), Partik Patel (46) and Dixit Patel (45) in their defeat of Embassy by 4 wickets in a closely fought game. Welldon inflicted Stanmore Jaffrey's with their first league defeat. Welldon bowled out Stanmore Jaffrey's for 125 in 31.5 overs and than comfortably reached 129-5 in 31.3 overs. Lohana's Dignet Popat scored 76no in their total of 162 against Sri Lankian Cavaliers despite useful bowling spells from Sanjeev Korala 5-25 and Aman Samsoodeen 3-16. Duminda Abeytunga (43) lead the charge as Sri Lankian Cavaliers reached their target with 12 overs to spare. There were wins for both Express and Bharat Olympians over Kingsbury Construction and Muktajivan respectively. In division 3, Anson won again to remain clear from the chasing pack with a convincing win against Littleton. Hemant Patel of Dharmaj turned in figures of 8-7-2-5 as Youth Wing were bowled out for a mere 96; Dharmaj passed this easily for the loss of three wickets. United Sport's Jayanti Patel took 5-41 in the win against EKTA for whom Zakir Hussain made 91. Centurions recorded their highest league total of 303 for 3 against Suraj with 145no coming from the bat of Bobby Singh. Capital won their second consecutive game as they dented the hopes of promotion chasing Sayona. Siv Packiriswami took 4-18 as Sayona were bowled out for 141 in 34.1 overs after been 85-0 in 14 overs. Vivek Khurana lead the way with 69 as Capital reached their target in 21.3 overs. Useful performances from Gurpal Virdee (5-17) and Shakeel Khan (98) of Ramgharia were more than enough as they defeated QCS London by 88 runs. In the 2nd XI competition, Rajput Samaj II recorded than easy victory over Welldon II to consolidate their push towards retaining the title they won last year. Divisional leaders Bharat Olympians II completed an easy win against United Sports II for whom Imran Ismail made 86. Ricky Sharma made 75no for Bharat Olympian II during the Bharat Olympians chase. West Harrow II secured victory by 15 runs against Neasden II thanks to Bhupesh Parmar's 5-31 despite a fighting 78 from Neasden's Ayaz Sayeed.
