Capital Cricket ClubThe 5th plate final was played between twice winners Stanmore Jaffrey's and Capital. Stanmore Jaffrey's elected to bat first after winning the toss. Parneet Sethi ripped the heart out of the Stanmore Jaffrey's top order as they struggled to 4-14. Parneet extracted movement from the wicket which played into his hands as some of the Stanmore Jaffrey's batsman showed poor shot selection and over confidence. Parneet finished with 6-42 as Stanmore were dismissed for mere 92 in 21 overs.

Varneet Shukla of Capital Cricket Club receives the Baker Tilly Plate from Balwant Patel of Baker Tilly.
Capital struggled earlier on in their innings; however Paresh Patel steadied their reply allowing them to comfortably reach their target to cause the biggest plate final upset. Craig Saunders put the icing on a fine Capital victory with a six to take then past the Stanmore Jaffrey's total for the loss of only 4 wickets. Balwant N. Patel of Baker Tilly presented Capital's jubilant skipper Varneet Shukla of the cup. Parneet Sethi was named as the man of the match.
