MPCL WEEKLY RESULTS
 
 

Greetings! Cricket Lovers

Neasden recorded their first league win in a low scoring game against Stanmore Jaffrey's in which the bowlers dominated from start to finish. The Haider brothers from Embassy starred in their 65 run win over Rajput Samaj with Daud (3-25), Ali (3-26) and Imran (57no). Following disciplinary action for poor behavior on the field, the league has parted company with North London Drifters.

Welldon enjoyed a run feast against West Harrow as Hoshang Noria 116no, Ramya Upadhya 89 and Rashmi Patel 79 all made notable contributions in their 339-5 in 40 overs. West Harrow made a valiant chase as youngsters Humayu Wassim (55) and Pavan Thakore (45) shared a stand of over a century; however no one else was able to take charge as they were bowled out for 214. Dignant Popat and Chaminda Mudalige made 75 and 51 respectively for Lohana in their total of 207-7 against Anson. Anson reached their target with 13 balls to spare with Darren Mathura (51) and Hitesh Goswami (66no). Kingsbury Construction maintained their pole position with a comfortable win over Magenta Security. Bharat Olympians further dented Muktajivan's promotion thanks largely due to Dhilan Basia 4-35.

In Division 3, Kondor and Dharmaj maintained their positions with useful wins and will play each other in weekend. Rishi Kotecha hit 74 off 58 balls in setting up Kondor with 222-8 in 40 overs against bottom of table Centurion. Dhiran Haria 4-35 and Mihir Patel 3-10 assisted in bowling out Centurion for 111. Shaminal Hogue made 104 out of EKTA's total of 207 in 40 overs against Dharmaj; Tejas Mehta took 4-35 for the latter. Dharmaj maintained their batting form as they reached target with 2 overs to spare with Nirav Mehta making 98. Ramgharia and United Sports both made 245-9. Ramgharia were deducted 7 overs for late arrival on their own home ground. Ramgharia failed to make the 3 runs needed for win off the last ball, hence the match ended in a tie. Notable performance during the match were from Amandeep Sandhu (59), Mashood Rahman (46), Tanju Danee (4-43) and from United's Umang Patel (46 & 3-57). Luke Duffy recorded the best bowling figures for the day for Youth Wing in their win over Capital by taking 6-34.

Ishtaq Ahmed (76 & 2-25) and Jatin Patel (40 &3-30) led Sayona to their first league win for the season by defeating Young Puthoharis by 55 runs. Kirti Velani took 2-20 and made 34 in Suraj's comfortable 29 run win over Indiana. In Division 1 2nd XI, Pranlal Divencha took 5-25 for Rajput Samaj II in United Sports II total of 148. Virendrasinh Rathod (68no) and Dhiru Patel (42no) than raced to 152-1 in 21.5 overs.
