MPCL WEEKLY RESULTS

Greetings! Cricket Lovers

Sri Lankan Cavaliers finished the season undefeated in the league following their comfortable win over Neasden and top of division 1. Mat Lofting lead the way for Neasden with 82 in their 208-8 in 40 overs, however Sri Lankan Cavaliers raced to 211-4 in 26.6 overs.

Kingsbury Construction finished off with a 22 run win over Bharat Olympians as division 2 champions. Bhavesh Vyas of Anson took 6-6 against West Harrow to secure 5 batting points as they bowled out the latter for 102. A relaxed Anson celebrated their return to division one with a poor batting performance as they were bowled 83. Dharmaj ensure promotion to division 3 by easily defeating Kondor in their final league match. A more disciplined administration by Dharamj over the whole would have seen them go up as champions. EKTA off the season with a 90 run win against Youth Wing and finish 3rd in division 3. Amer Mohammed (126no) and Jignesh Patel (105) of United Sports both scored centuries in their 149 run win over Capital.

Regency failed to honor their fixture against Young Lions and hence missed out on a chance of promotion. Young Lions finished top of division 4 in their first season to go up as champions. Mohammed Abkerally of Sayona starred with 49 and 5-13 in their easy win over Young Puthoharis. Sayona have been promoted as runners up. Young Puthoharis will also play in division 3 next season. Neasden II suffered a run defeat against Rajput Samaj II; Nilesh Patel of Rajput scored 120.
