Dhiren
Darbar produced a captain's performance as he led Rajput Samaj to
a 7 run win against West Harrow. Dhiren made 89no in Rajput's innings
of 196 -7 in 45 overs and than took 4-9 in 3.4 overs. The match
was delayed at 6.45pm due to rain, however soon as it stopped Rajput
completed the job as West Harrow were bowled out for 189.
Lankians
restricted Bharat Olympians to 174-7 in 45 overs. Lankians completed
the task with 6 wickets in hand as they raced to 177-4 in 34.2 overs.
Sanakalpa Gunasekara made 61, whilst Suranga Dalluwatta weighed
in with 63 in 39 balls which included 4 sixes and 7 fours. Sri Lankian
Cavaliers dominated the game against Anson and won easily, likewise
Lohana defeated Muktajivan by 6 wkts.
In
the plate competition, Young Lions defeated United Sports by 1 wicket
with 2 balls to spare. Nishil Tanna made 62 in Young Lions chase
for 142. Arvind Patel made 60 in Kingsbury Construction comfortable
win over Youth Wing.
Neasden
defeated Magenta by 7 wickets to set up a match against Embassy
in the semi-finals.
In
the 2nd XI competition, Neasden II posted 245-5 against United Sports
II with Amit Patel making 100 and Prabhi Singh 44. United Sports
II were bowled out for 134 as Hiten Patel and Hardik Simaria took
4-31 and 3-7 respectively.
