Prashant Gandhi of Anson took 4-26 against Rajput Samaj who were all out for 123 in 32 overs with Partik Patel top scoring on 47. Anson is their reply were bowled out for 69 with Partik Patel taking the bowling honors of 3-9. Sujith Kumarasinghe took 4-15 and made 32 for Lankians in their defeat against Embassy. Chetan Depala of Indiana missed out on a league century as he was dismissed for 99 against Muktajivan in his side's total of 259-7 in 40 overs; Mitheel Jagani and Hitesh Depala also made 76 and 49 respectively. Indiana maintained their 100% record by dismissing Muktajivan 154. Ayaz Saiyed (61) was the highlight of Neasden's win over Dharmaj, whilst Welldon inflicted a third consecutive league defeat on United Sports who are now firmly rooted to the bottom of division 2. Amit Kumar of Young Puthoharis made 57 in their total of 224 for 7 against South Harrow; Sahil Shenoy than put in the best bowling performance of the day with 6-17 as South Harrow were bowled for 77. Youth Wing's Anish Shah made 75no and took 4-19 in their win over Regency. Sayona's Samir Patel took 5-13 in their dismissal of EKTA for a paltry 56; Sayona romped home in 12 overs. Shivam maintained their unbeaten run to remain second in the division following their win over Lohana in a low scoring game. In the 2nd XI competition, Neasden II won at Baladia with Amit Patel Jnr making 61 in their 5 wicket victory. DIU made a winning start on their league debut as Bharatkumar Ramgi made 78 in their 237-8 in 40 overs against Welldon II. H. Pravinkumar took 4-31 as Welldon II were dismissed for 161 in 35 overs. The MPCL league side will be playing their cup match on 28th May against Herts and Essex CL or Essex CL.
