Shivam caused the biggest upset in the MPCL Cup competition by knocking out division 1 Anson. Shivam made 264 for 8 in 45 overs with Prabjot Singh making 103 in setting Anson a challenging target which the latter fell short of by 13 runs despite a useful contribution of 53 from Hitesh Goswami.

Indiana posted a record 376 for 6 in 45 overs against Regency with the Darshan Depala making 124, Kaushik Depala 53 and Himansu Depala 52; Regency had no fire power to match as they were bowled out for 124.

Cup holders Sri Lankan Cavaliers lost by 60 runs against United Sports for whom Fawzan Fathah made 56 not out. Embassy had a comfortable win over 2006 finalist Bharat Olympians, whilst Lankians won easily against DIU Community of Southall as Mohamed Arshad took 5-19 for the former.

The chance of both Rajput Samaj teams reaching the finals came to an end as both went out in closely fought matches. South Harrow won by 1 run against Rajput Samaj II. Lohana were restricted to 175 for 8 in 45 overs against Rajput Samaj for whom Bharat Damania took 4-44; when Rajput batted Lohana's Priyesh Makwana and Warris Deen took 4-4 & 4-25 respectively to give their team a10 run victory.

Ramesh Patel (89) and Aval Shah (42) were instrumental in Youth Wing putting up a total of 251 for 7 in 45 overs against Kingsbury Construction. Sunil Harji made76 in the Kingsbury's response, however they still fell 55 runs short of their target.

In the plate competition, West Harrow dismissed Muktajivan for 122 and than raced to128 in 16.1 overs as Akash Christian made 69no. Baladia Youth Club caused an upset by knocking out division 3 leaders Young Puthoharis. Baladia were limited to 139 with a top score of 49 from Vicken Laxmidas. Baladia's Mahendra Mepani (3-20) and Paresh Nanji (3-33) made useful inroads into the Young Puthoharis as they were dismissed for 130. Dharmaj and Welldon had comfortable wins over EKTA and Sayona respectively.

Neasden II remain top of division 1 2nd XI following there win over Welldon II. Amit Patel Jnr made 75 in Neasden II's 240-9 in 40 overs. Neasden's Amit Patel Snr (3-22) and Jaimin Shah (3-18) ensured that Welldon II were restricted to120.
