Bharat Olympians continued their good form against West Harrow. Batting first, Bharat Olympians posted 218 in 40 overs with the main contribution coming from Vishal Vakani 63. West Harrow were restricted to 150 thanks largely to Depesh Patel taking 4-23. Duminda Abeytunga made76 in Sri Lankan Cavaliers 187 against Rajput Samaj than Udayakumara Kapugama took 4-22 as Rajput were all out for 99.
Birju Mehta made 64 in Anson's total of 177-9 against Indiana, with Kaushik Doshi taking 4-16 for the latter. When Indiana batted Birju picked up 3-8 and with Neel Ghadhi's 2-8 they were all out for 90.


Kondor won the toss and elected to bat first against the in form Lankians who are striving to complete the league and cup double. Chances went begging as their opening batsmen put on 50 runs first 10 overs. Kondor were well placed for a big target as they were 124 for 1 in 25 overs. However it was soon over as Sankalpa Gunesakara (5-3) and Sujith Kumarasinghe (3-23) shared 8 wickets between them in the space of 10 overs as Kondor were all out for 136 in 35.4 overs. Lankians openers Sankalpa Gunesakara (71no) and Sanjeewa Wijetunga (54no) continued their good form by knocking off the target within 17 overs. Sankalpa's innings included 11 fours and a six whilst that of. Sanjeewa's inning included 11 fours.

In division 2, Kingsbury Construction won by a narrow 2 wickets margin in a closely fought low scoring match against United Sports to assure themselves promotion back to division 1. United Sports batted first and were all out for 137 off 37.3 overs with Gaurav Shiani (3-20) and Hasmukh Vekaria (3-32) being the main wicket takers; Kruthat Raval top scored with 31 for United. In reply, KCCC were reduced to 97 for 7 as Akshit Desai took3-29. Arvind Patel's unbeaten 25 along with some key partnerships with the tail, took Kingsbury to a narrow 2 wicket win with 3 balls to spare.

 

Neasden made 265-7 in 40 overs against bottom of the table Muktajivan. Rasik Varsani was the pick of the Muktajivan bowlers with 3-47. When Muktajivan batted, they tried to keep up with the required run rate of over 6 an over and paid the price they were bowled out for 174 in 28 overs. Welldon were bowled out for 93 against Dharmaj with Hemant Patel (3-13, Tapan Patel 3-32) and Prinay Patel (2-8) all playing key roles. Dharmaj knocked off the required runs in 22 overs with Mohit Patel (36) leading the way. Youth Wing defeated Shivam by 6 wickets with Anish Shah 4-27 and Jigar Patel Snr 54 providing the highlights which lifts Youth Wing to third place.

Sayona's Manoj Patel returned the best bowling figures of 6-9 this weekend against Rajput Samaj II in their 8 wicket victory. Amit Kumar's 4-28 and 43 were enough to give Young Puthoharis the edge over Lohana to ensure promotion. South Harrow's decision to bat first against DIU Community of Southall proved to right as they made 261 in 28.3 overs; Lakindu Warsala top scored with 59 for South Harrow, whilst Mahesh Quirticumar took 3-30 for DIU. South Harrow's Ali Khan took 5-50 as DIU were bowled out for 203 in 39 overs with Mahesh Quirticumar making 46. Baladia remain firmly in 2nd place following their win over Neasden II.

In the 2nd XI competition, DIU Daredevils became champions following their 164 run win over London Lions. DIU Daredevils made 281-9 in 40 overs as Mitesh Louchande (80), Hemal Ravindra (76) and Vimal Narendra 52no all played their role in posting a challenging target. When London Lions batted, Mitesh Louchande took 3-22 to assist in restricting London Lions to 117. United Sports II were bowled out for 107 by MTSSC. MTSSC's final game is against Jaguar where they need to win and preventing their opposition taking any points to gain promotion.
