Selfridges have recreated a unique installation in their store inspired by the home of real-life Bollywood film star, Dimple Kapadia. The 333 square foot space is complete with a living room, bedroom, study, dining room and powder room is a celebration of such lifestyles only represented on film. Bollywood icon Dimple Kapadia has been famous since the sixties and has starred as the lead in many memorable films.

Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, internationally acclaimed fashion and interior designers were commissioned by Selfridges to re-create the Bollywood Star's due of their longstanding working relationship with Bollywood stars. For over 15 years, they have captivated the world of fashion with their unique creations, pioneering many innovative ideas and styles in haute couture. Their creations have appeared on Oscar nights, worn by Dame Judi Dench and Dame Maggi Smith.

Each room will be decorated with fine, handcrafted furniture from India as well as Western furnishings and accessories. Exclusive to the Mansion will be a bed covered in solid silver, inlaid marble tables, velvet cushions, embroidered textiles, coloured glass and artefacts. Colours throughout the Mansion will be rich, warm and spicy.
